Jointly organised by the HKSAR Government and HKTDC, BIP Asia is an annual flagship event for intellectual property (IP) owners, policymakers, users, investors and professionals to exchange thought leadership and market trends as well as explore business opportunities in Asia and beyond, with the 2025 edition attracting more than 100 prominent speakers and 3,300 participants from 38 countries and regions. 

Intellectual property (IP) has emerged as a pivotal asset in fostering financial growth and driving innovation. A robust IP framework not only safeguards innovations but also serves as a powerful catalyst for financial empowerment, enabling enterprises to scale up effectively within an increasingly knowledge-driven economy. The Forum this year themed “Powering Commercial Success Through IP and Innovation” will discuss how businesses can enhance their competitive advantage, attract investment, and unlock new avenues for sustainable growth by strategically leveraging IP. Together with the Innovation and IP Market, BIP Asia is a one-stop IP showcase and networking platform with IP management and enforcement related event sessions.
