About the speakers
Daraius is a former HSBC international manager with over 30 years’ experience in financial services primarily as an Investment Banking COO, with a particular focus on strategic growth and risk and controls. In his last role, Daraius was responsible for the business management of an USD 850m revenue generating sector in Asia covering Asset Managers, Hedge Funds and Central Banks; he has been instrumental in the business design of financial crime risk management strategies for the Investment Bank in the Middle East and in Asia; and has been involved in the due diligence and post-merger integration of three large M&A deals in Bermuda, Oman and the UAE.
Edward has over 20 years of financial research experience in Asia, Europe and the USA and has just left Asia for a different set of opportunities in France, after 15 years in Hong Kong. Edward is a co-founder of YourBoard and is passionate about the transmission of knowledge and experience to those that need it most, when they need it, notably to companies looking for opportunities to grow and succeed.
Franck is a seasoned Investor, Disruptor, Entrepreneur, and Global Business Expansion Leader on a mission to create and invest in thriving businesses. He is also an Intellectual Property Specialist who has patented an array of different products on a global scale. With over two decades of international business experience in the retail marketing industry, he has become well-versed in global B2B & B2C operations, strategic growth planning, and business model disruption. Previously, Franck served as the CEO and Founder of Pop Group, which he sold in 2018. In 2020 he co-founded YourBoard as a business advisory partnership focused on SMEs and high growth companies.
Sylvie has 30 years of international experience in financial services working for major global banks in Hong Kong, UK and Switzerland. Most recently she was APAC Chief Risk Officer, providing independent oversight on risk, control and governance frameworks. Her experience spans governance, new business implementation, project management, re-organization and change management, and cost reduction. Earlier in her career she was a product specialist in structured products and equity derivatives.
About the moderator
Vivian is an award-winning senior adviser to companies in APAC with extensive experience in corporate and financial communications, government advisory, spokesperson training, communications planning, and reputation and risk management. He is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors and an experienced business leader with extensive multi-market work in the public relations and communications sectors. He regularly writes on issues to do with corporate governance, reputational risk, and ASEAN.
