Building Your Geopolitical Resilience Programme

Tom Newell, Associate Director, Control Risks

Building Your Resilience Programme amid Rising Geopolitical Tensions in Asia Pacific

From Ukraine to Gaza, geopolitical tensions have erupted in flashpoints around the world in recent years, and Asia Pacific is no exception. Businesses are increasingly concerned about the impact of geopolitical volatility on their business continuity, supply chains, key assets and people, etc. How will these tensions develop and disrupt my business over the next few years? What are the triggers and early indicators that might signal a fundamental change in the risk level? Is my business well-positioned relative to industry peers? Companies need a robust resilience programme in place to answer these questions.

At this session, Tom Newell, Associate Director at Control Risks, will share insights on how organisations can build geopolitical resilience frameworks for Asia Pacific, ranging from preparedness benchmarking to scenario planning and risk assessment, to help manage risks and unearth new opportunities in a time of growing geopolitical friction.
