 About the speakers

Amelie is the Co-founder of Alea Insurance, one of Hong Kong’s leading health insurance brokers and Employee Health Benefits experts.  

Amelie is a Governor of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and its immediate past Chair. 

She has received various prizes including: the 2022 Liv Media Women of Wellness Award; the 2021 JCI APAC Female Entrepreneur Award; the CanChamHK 2016 Entrepreneurial Achievers Under 35 Award; and 2016 the Catherine Nance Common President of the Year Award by McGill University. 

Prior to entrepreneurship, Amelie worked in Canada practicing medical law. She has a Master’s Degree in Medical Law and Medical Ethics from King’s College, London, and holds two bachelors of laws from McGill University.

 

Linda Wills is Executive Director & Partner at OT&P Healthcare.
Linda is an experienced healthcare manager with more than 30 years’ experience in management roles in Hospitals and Medical clinics. 

Linda graduated as a Registered Nurse in the UK and holds a post graduate qualification in Public Health with working experience in Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Hong Kong. Linda first came to Hong Kong in the 1980’s and has been working in the private healthcare sector since,.

Linda has a special interest in promoting quality, health & safety and wellness initiatives within healthcare. 

 

Dr. Michelle Lam is from Clinical Team at Cigna HK. After graduating with the degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Hong Kong, Dr Michelle worked for the Hospital Authority in Hong Kong.

She is currently with Cigna, a global health services leader whose mission is to improve the health, well-being, and peace of mind of those they serve by making health care simple, affordable, and predictable.

 

About the moderator

Dicky Chow is the Head of Healthcare and Social Innovation at Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF). With prior experience in policy analysis and implementation in the Hong Kong government's civil service and regional think tanks, he brings a unique perspective to his research. Dicky has published reports and articles on the use of technology in health systems, health financing, mental health, and Chinese medicine. Dicky received his Bachelor's degrees in Law and Business Administration from the University of Hong Kong and his Master's degree in Psychology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
