Many companies continue to struggle with the challenge of embedding environmental and social factors into their organisation’s processes and culture. Finance leadership and innovation are essential to making this change, and creating the businesses of tomorrow. Finance teams have a unique opportunity to create both sustainable and commercially viable business models.
The Prince’s Accounting for Sustainability Project (A4S) was established by HRH The Prince of Wales in the UK in 2004 with the aim to make sustainable decision making ‘business as usual’. There are now A4S networks and circles of practice, focused on supporting the finance community, in Europe, US, Canada, Singapore and several other markets. A4S aims to:

- Inspire finance leaders to adopt sustainable and resilient business models
- Transform financial decision making to enable an integrated approach, reflective of the opportunities and risks posed by environment and social issues
- Scale up action across the global finance and accounting community

The panel of speakers will explore how other markets are making the change, and provide practical examples and case studies on how to drive the necessary cultural change to embed sustainability as one of the core pillars of finance.
