Chamber Response to OGCIO Smart City Blueprint Report

The Chamber, led by the Smart City Forum and Innovation and Technology Committee, submitted its response to the Consultancy Study on Smart City Blueprint for Hong Kong. Following visits by representatives from the British Chamber of Commerce to the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) earlier in the year, and having attended and held several meetings with the OGCIO and the consultants who created the study, the Chamber has reviewed the report in respect of business interests and opportunities.

The Chamber, led by the Financial Markets Committee, has submitted a response to the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited’s (HKEX) “New Board Concept Paper”; and “Consultation on Review of the Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) and Changes to the GEM and Main Board Listing Rules”.

British Chamber 2017 Policy Address Submission

To coincide with Carrie Lam taking office as the new Chief Executive, the Chamber, led by the Business Policy Unit, drafted and submitted its 2017/18 Policy Address Submission. The submission outlines the Chamber’s key policy priorities focusing on themes including competitiveness, liveability, and innovation.
