Mental Health in the Post COVID Era

The global public health crisis caused by COVID-19 has lasted longer than many of us would have hoped and expected.  Even as restrictions begin to drop and Hong Kong returns to “normal”, many of us are still experiencing high levels of uncertainty and stress.

In honour of Stress Awareness Month, the Chamber’s Healthcare Committee and Education Committee have worked together to raise awareness of the causes and impacts of stress, and to highlight the mental health resources available in Hong Kong for children, adolescents and adults. With the help of our experts from the healthcare and education sectors, we will open up a dialogue and create a safe space to address mental health. Focusing on the warning signs of stress and its impact on our mental health, coping strategies for individuals who are struggling, and sharing the mental health treatment options available in Hong Kong.
