The use of Big Data in Healthcare has grown exponentially in recent years and the Global Big Data in Healthcare was valued at USD 14.7 billion in 2018 and projected to grow to USD 42.8 billion by 2024.

Technological advances such as AI, machine learning and block chain are being deployed to aggregate and analyse Big Data for diagnostics, preventative and precision medicine, medical research and holds huge potential to both improve healthcare outcomes and reduce healthcare costs. However, challenges exist on many facets including data ownership; licensing and use of data, data accuracy, transfer and commercialisation of the data. Ensuring the security and protection on Personal Health Information ("PHI") is critical.

During this webinar, experts from the Chamber’s Healthcare Committee will explore how we can address this challenge within the healthcare ecosystem and how stakeholders are leveraging Big Data to create more value or save costs in businesses. There will be an open Q&A session to encourage audience engagement and a diversity of views.
