In February 2019, the Chamber formed a sub-committee on cancer care to explore the challenges patients face in accessing and financing cancer services, including prevention, screening and treatment. The Committee undertook an analysis of all patient-facing studies conducted over a twenty-year period, met stakeholders in the healthcare community including NGOs and delivery organisations, and appraised international approaches to care delivery. The findings from this study, together with proposed solutions, were released in September in a White Paper which was shared with stakeholders in the health community.

In this breakfast session, we will introduce the white paper, and discuss the redocumentations and findings with a panel of esteemed experts from industry, Government and the NGO sector.
