PUTTING SOCIAL IMPACT AT THE CORE OF YOUR BUSINESS

How can Hong Kong meet the needs for mobility, economic productivity, liveability and sustainability?

The ‘S’ in ESG is not just about creating social impact, it’s critical for businesses to attract and retain talent, customers and clients. Putting sustainable social impact at the core of your business can give you a competitive edge and help you to build a brand with purpose. At this event, we will explore how to put the community at the heart of your company’s culture, strategy and operations, and build a better future for Hong Kong.

Keynote: What is sustainable social impact?

When we talk about sustainability in the private sector, we’re usually referring to the environmental side of doing business, but what about the social side? Learn how you can build your brand, purpose and profitability by doing more than just volunteering.

Session 1: Leading with purpose for future generations

What does this essential behaviour mean in a modern workplace and how by focusing on putting people first, a greater prosperity for all is possible.

Session 2: Putting social impact at the core

Social sustainability is a cross departmental agenda from HR and CSR to ESG and Marketing, plus a big conversation in the boardroom. This requires a lot of resources, but is it strategic and improving your bottom line? We will dig deeper into the complexities of social impact in day-to-day business and help provide solutions on how your organisation can work smarter to achieve profit and purpose.

Session 3: Collaboration and transparency – tackling the social issues in supply chains

2020 changed how supply chains were managed and how they function. What does transparency look like across our changing supply chains? Will transparency and social reporting improve labour conditions and reduce modern day slavery?
