Mid Year Market Outlook

Despite a slower-than-expected economic performance in H1 2022 due to the rate hike and COVID-19 uncertainties, we expect a gradual recovery in business sentiment and market activities H2 2022.

Against the backdrop of more clarity on the rate hike, investment sentiment is expected to pick up and we see now as a good time for investors to capitalise on industrial assets due to their resilience. As for the office sector, flight-to-quality will be central to occupiers, yet the heavy supply pipeline will weigh on the rental outlook. Retail sentiment will likely recover in H2 2022 with domestic consumption remaining the key purchasing power.

Join this in-person event to hear from our two exert speakers as they share more insights on the market outlook for the second half of 2022.
