Payment Development & Evolution in Hong Kong

Payment options have been evolving and we are witnessing a stage of transformation. From cash transactions to the digital era with traditional cashless payment such as credit and debit cards being replaced by eWallets, mobile payments, virtual banking and the usage of cryptocurrencies. Bank of China, for example, have recently introduced their Bill Payment Solution which is an integrated billing and transaction management platform that supports online and offline payments. The Financial Secretary, Paul Chan, also recently announced that Bank of China’s BOC Pay and HSBC’s PayMe will be joining the second phase of the Consumption Voucher Scheme.

With all these developments, we want to explore how SMEs can leverage technology to drive business and optimise operation efficiency and how digitalisation benefits business in a post-pandemic period.

During this webinar, our panel of experts will cover the challenges faced by SMEs and introduce business digitalisation in CVS to achieve their business objectives such as payments, marketing and business operations.

Details on how to join will be sent via email by 5pm the day before the webinar.
