View webinar
Speaker:
Keith Hemshall, Executive Director, Head of Office Services, Hong Kong, Cushman & Wakefield
As COVID-19 continues to paralyse the Hong Kong economy, the knock on effects in the office market have been dramatic with grade A vacancy rising to a 10 year high and rents registering significant quarter on quarter falls across the board. What lies ahead for the Hong Kong office market and how will corporate occupiers change the way they operate their businesses moving forward?
In this webinar, Cushman & Wakefield will evaluate what corporates have learnt about the pros and cons of working from home and whether this will become a permanent strategy to manage risk and cut costs. Amongst other topics, the increased dependence on virtual meeting technology and the growing value placed on ‘green’ accreditations and advanced air-conditioning systems, will all be covered.
Details on how to join this webinar will be sent via email 2 hours before the webinar start time.
About the speaker
Having lived in HK since the age of 10 months, Keith Hemshall describes himself as a ‘local foreigner’ rather than an expat! His entire 30 year work career has been spent in the commercial real estate industry. Currently he manages the Office Leasing business in Hong Kong at Cushman & Wakefield, a listed top 3 worldwide service provider, focusing on servicing the needs of corporate occupiers.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Keith worked with a listed UK based competitor for 16 years. During this period, which included other significant downturns such as SARS (2003), Keith was actively involved in some of the largest and most innovative transactions concluded in HK during these unique times.
In 2006 Keith changed tack to manage a boutique corporate interior design studio for two years focusing on providing high end design and build solutions for Hedge Funds, Asset Managers and Law Firms in particular. He then established his own Tenant Rep Advisory firm which he ran successfully for seven years before commencing his current role with Cushman & Wakefield.
