Updates from Andrew Heyn, British Consul General to HK+Macao
Speaker:
Andrew Heyn OBE, British Consul General to Hong Kong and Macao
Andrew Heyn OBE, British Consul General to Hong Kong and Macao will be joining the Chamber to host a webinar where he will share updates regarding the evolving situation amid COVID-19 both in Hong Kong and the UK.
Over the past couple of weeks, there has been little focus on Brexit as the UK government has dramatically shifted their strategy in an attempt to contain the virus and limit the spreading. Andrew will provide further insight on the UK’s response to this as well as an update on the longstanding UK/Hong Kong relationship.
Andrew Heyn OBE, British Consul General to Hong Kong and Macao, took office in October 2016. Andrew joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1989 and served in Caracas, Lisbon and Dublin before his most recent overseas posting as Ambassador to Burma.
