Open for Business: Cambodia’s Investment Opportunities

Please email for more information

Cambodia is one of the fastest growing economies in South East Asia.

With a forecast 7% economic growth a year for the next five years and a rapidly growing consumer class, it is an attractive market to invest and do business in. Cambodia has also been a significant beneficiary of shifting supply chains across the region, with major new investment in sectors such as garments and footwear.

Cambodia’s young population, half under the age of 26, is tech-savvy and worldly. Tastes, preferences and habits are developing rapidly. This young population is driving new product preferences and is leading the way in the adoption of new technologies.

Significant new business opportunities are available in a number of different sectors, including education and vocational training, construction, manufacturing, retail, automotive, agribusiness, tourism and the financial/professional services. And Cambodia is also seeing significant infrastructure and other investment under the Belt and Road initiative.

However, doing business successfully in Cambodia takes patience and perseverance.

The British Chamber of Commerce and the Department for International Trade in Cambodia will be presenting an overview of the Cambodian market, and an introduction to sectors of opportunity.

Trevor Sworn and Sitoma Him will be available for private meetings on 28 and 29 November.

If you are interested, please contact to arrange.
