How Can We Balance Customer Due Diligence Requirements with Effective, Streamline Banking Processes?

The introduction of legislation for banks to identify and prevent money laundering and terrorist financing has required companies to provide / refresh a significant amount of information about their business to maintain their bank account. Many SMEs face challenges in satisfying the information and documentation requirements, resulting in potential impediments on the operation of their bank account and business.

At the heart of this issue is the necessity to balance appropriate checks with an efficient, streamlined process, making banking safe yet accessible. At this workshop, we will be joined by HSBC to explain the ‘Know Your Customers’ (KYC) process and the improvements made to enhance customer’s experience throughout the process.
