In business, having a fantastic memory is one of the defining characteristics of high performers. Yet, most people think they are stuck with the memory they were born with. Not true. We have the ability to train our memory to an amazing level.

In this highly entertaining, inspirational and educational session, David Thomas, Guinness memory record breaker, Sunday Times #1 bestselling author and media personality (even been on Oprah!) will share his strategies to immediately improve the memory of all the delegates. He will even do an interactive exercise that will prove that the techniques work before the end of the session.

About the speaker

After a difficult childhood, David Thomas was expelled from school at 16 and joined the Fire Service aged 20. He couldn’t pass his promotion exams, failing them multiple times. At the age 27, he saw a guy memorise a pack of cards on television, bought his book and 8 months later entered the World Memory Championships. He came 4th and became one of only three International Grandmasters of Memory in the world at the time.

Since then he has developed one of the most powerful memories in history. His achievements include breaking a Guinness memory record for reciting Pi to 22,500 digits and becoming US Memory Champion.

He left the Fire Service and is now a full time professional speaker, having spoken in 23 countries to more than 500,000 people.

He has written three books – the second become a Sunday Times #1 bestseller – that have had a total readership in excess of 1 million people.

He is in high demand by the media having done more than 500 media interviews including going on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
