About the speakers
Gary has more than 20 years of experience as a corporate legal counsel, specialising in regulatory affairs and financial products.
Prior to joining BC Group, Gary served as General Counsel for Yunfeng Financial Group and Asia Head of Legal and Compliance for Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC Partners.
Earlier in his career, Gary specialised in structured derivatives, private equity and managed investment products at Macquarie Group and CITIC Capital.
Gary also currently serves as General Counsel for Reorient Group.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New South Wales.
Ryan has more than 20 years of experience in flow trading, brokerage and sales covering digital assets, FX, options, equities and other financial products.
Ryan Leads OSL’s overall institutional sales activities including client acquisition and management, business development and product creation.
Prior to joining OSL, Ryan held senior roles at LMAX, Newedge across Asia, Europe and South Africa.

About the moderator
Jill specialises in financial services and corporate regulatory and compliance issues. She was previously Deputy General Counsel at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, in-house counsel at Credit Suisse and consultant at leading international law firms. Her unique experience allows her to advise on both on contentious and non-contentious issues. Jill's experience compasses all aspects of banking and securities laws and rules affecting listed companies. She regularly represents clients in regulatory (for example, SFC, HKMA, HKEx and ICAC) investigations. She is active in new areas of regulatory scrutiny such as money-laundering, sponsor liability, corporate governance, privacy, retail payment systems and competition. She is identified as a leading lawyer in legal directories and named as an External Counsel of the Year in Asian-Mena's 2013 survey of in-house counsel.
