About the speakers

Andrew Lau has over 18 years’ experience in driving ESG and Sustainability leadership for MNC in Asia Pacific. He has managed carbon reduction and sustainability program for corporate clients and investors across Asia, including Greater China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, Philippine, Thailand and Malaysia.

Appointed as Director of ESG Advisory for Colliers in Asia, Andrew leads a professional team in providing ESG advisory including REITs, occupiers, developers, banks and investors across all asset types. The projects that Andrew delivered has saved over 60 GWh of electricity up-to-today. Andrew has advised or managed green projects such as major air-conditioning system retrofit, lighting upgrade and redesign, renewable energy system, green roof, building automation and control system.

Andrew is a pioneer in Energy Performance Contracting in the region and helped clients to reduce energy with guarantee saving. Andrew also working closely with Universities R&D and technologies startups in PropTech application.

Andrew is passionate about education; he is often invited guest speaker in universities and public events.

Andrew has obtained his Master of Science in Intelligent Building Technologies and Management from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and his Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Toronto.

Andrew is a Chartered Engineer, professional member of Chartered Institute of Building Service Engineers and Hong Kong Institute of Engineers, registered energy assessor, certified energy manager, certified building commissioning professional, LEED and WELL Accredited Professional.

 

Kirsten Mundy is a Director in Government and Infrastructure Advisory at KPMG China and the Asia Pacific Lead for ESG in Government where she leads client delivery in public policy, major projects and procurement. She has 20 years of public and private sector experience, of which 10 years have been in consulting, including at KPMG and PwC, and 10 years in UK Government, where she worked on the Building Schools for the Future Programme. She enjoys leading and managing complex programmes and projects in regeneration, leisure, housing, education, transport, social and community infrastructure and utilities.

Kirsten is passionate about ESG issues, in particular on the ‘S’ and the delivery of social value and outcomes, and has recently studied at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.

At KPMG, Kirsten is also the Hong Kong Advisory People Partner focusing on nurturing KPMG’s people, developing the next generation of leaders and creating a positive culture and happy workplace. Her leadership on people initiatives is driven by prioritising employee wellbeing, inspiring colleagues to find purpose in work and creating a more inclusive environment for all.

Kirsten was formerly a member of the Executive Team of the UK education charity, The Talent Foundry Trust, whose mission is to increase social mobility for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. She is also a former Director and Ambassador for Variety – the Hong Kong Children’s Charity.

 

Nikki J. Davies is Group Diversity & Inclusion Director at Prudential plc. With over two decades of experience, she has worked in HR financial services for over 15 years based in Hong Kong with an Asian and Global remit working in Banking for Morgan Stanley and then Credit Suisse. Previously she ran her own education, training, and development businesses.

At Prudential, Nikki leads a strategic Global D&I Council aligned to the Group’s Environmental, Social and Governance strategy. Nikki has led the efforts to redefine inclusive leadership mindsets and behaviours, ran a global talent sponsorship programme, and established initiatives driving progress for the global business including the Group-wide approach to hybrid working. She was instrumental in Prudential’s inclusion on the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index since 2021.

Nikki is a Certified Mental Health First Aider and Mental Health Ambassador for Mind Hong Kong and sponsors Prudential’s approach to mental health and well-being. She is also on the Board of Sunbeam Children’s Foundation raising over HKD$4.5 million annually for this Hong Kong Charity, providing a happy home, healthcare, and good education to the Children in Baiwan, Guangdong, China enabling them to live independently in the future.

 

Pat Dwyer is an internationally-respected sustainability expert. She is passionate about sharing her 20+ years of experience and leadership to help businesses in Asia activate purpose, address ESG impacts and grow responsibly to future-proof their business.

She has guest lectured – and continues to speak and moderate – across global platforms including The Obama Foundation, The World Economic Forum, The University of Cambridge, The Climate Competent Boards Certificate Program and the Thomson Reuters Foundation, sharing her insights in sustainability, purpose, leadership and governance.

Before founding The Purpose Business in 2015, Pat led teams at Shangri-La Hotels and Ayala Land, setting standards in corporate sustainability with firsts, such as a shark’s fin ban, DJSI listing, impact measurements and LEED developments.

She has an MA in Globalisation & Governance, and certificates in Transformational Leadership (University of Oxford) and Global Leadership & Public Policy for the 21st Century (Harvard Kennedy School).

 

About the moderator

Dawn Isaac is known as ‘The Green Dog’ working at Black Dog Consultants, an Asian-focused training consultancy with a global reach who provide learning and talent solutions to a broad range of clients across different industries. This includes sustainability solutions, targetted at all levels of an organisation and in partnership with expert faculty and speakers to enable the required behavioural shifts to start.

Dawn started her career in the UK working in the banking industry before transferring to Hong Kong where she has been based for the last 20 years. She manages the Hong Kong office and clients in addition to being a facilitator, accredited executive coach and Climate Fresk practitioner.

In 2022, Dawn launched the Sustainability Series, a series of workshops aimed at bringing together and co-creating a community of like-minded individuals and share their own sustainability solutions.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Financial Management.
