OBJECTIVES

The role of the Committee is to develop marketing and communication initiatives that present the Chamber as a leading voice of business in Hong Kong.  This brief recognises that there are two elements to carrying out business in any market - the commercial side, and the more social side.

 

The role therefore includes:

  • Presenting the Chamber’s activities in general to the membership and to potential members;
  • To increase its profile and importance within the Hong Kong business community;
  • Monitoring members’ needs through liaison with other committees;                                          
  • Developing the Chamber’s “product” to take account of changes in the markets that it serves and of members’ evolving needs;

 

Ensuring that the Chamber is seen by members to provide value, by offering a variety of activities.
