OBJECTIVES

Aim
To represent and promote the collective interests of its members and the Chamber members in all aspects of Logistics in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta region, including Shipping, Air Freight, Transport and Distribution.

Objectives:

Within our Committee

• to convene regular committee meetings, on an average six-week cycle
• to organize and host discussion forums, guest speakers, site visits and social events
• to periodically compile position papers on selected sectors of Hong Kong’s logistics industry

Within our Chamber

• to be the voice of the Chamber on relevant issues; 
• to provide advice to the General Committee on relevant matters; 
• to participate with other Chamber committees on logistics related subjects and other topics of common interest

Within our Community

• to actively support logistics industry events and activities in Hong Kong
• to extend the committee’s reach into the broader logistics community beyond the Chamber and to connect collaboratively with other industry associations and logistics committees
• to participate authoritatively in consultations conducted by the government and other agencies; 
• to be actively pro-Hong Kong, and to meaningfully support initiatives taken by the Government and other bodies to promote Hong Kong as the world's leading Logistics hub
