Colin Tweedy was Chief Executive, Arts & Business 1983-2012. He developed the UK National Charity Arts & Business from a staff of 2 in Bath, Somerset, to a 100 people strong organisation with offices in 9 cities, with a turnover of £ 9 million and a head office in London. He oversaw private sector support for the arts rise from £10 million in 1983 to £600 million in 2010.

Mr. Tweedy became Chief Executive of The Building Centre in June 2012.

In this presentation, Ir S.S. Lee will provide an overview of the functions of the Construction Industry Council (the “CIC”), its recent highlights and targets to be achieved in the next five years. The target achievements include advocating research and innovations, striving for excellence of the industry, meeting manpower needs, building the image of the industry, enhancing communications, and elevating quality of service.
