Student internships, mentorships programs, problem-based learning projects, business competitions and guest speakers’ sessions and the like are all too familiar wholeperson developmental initiatives in business schools; yet they are a grossly untapped spectrum of opportunities for SMEs in Hong Kong. In this session, Dr. Robert Wright from the Faculty of Business of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University will share his experiences in gaining company access to generate win / win outcomes both for the students as well as for employers. In addition, he will also be accompanied by some business students to share insights on their thinking about workplace engagements and what SMEs can do about it.

 About the Speaker:

Dr Wright is Associate Professor of Strategy and Chair of the Department of Management & Marketing’s Work Integrated Education Task Force. He is a multi-award winning teacher / researcher and is an alumnus of executive development programs in IMD in Switzerland, and the Harvard Business School.

This seminar is organised by the British Chamber's SME Committee.  A light sandwich lunch will be served.
