The majority of British people living abroad don't realise that their world-wide estates remain fully liable to Inheritance Tax, even though they might have been living abroad for many years. While there are many ways of planning for this, one of the most effective is to change 'domicile', which takes your non-UK assets outside of the reach of Inheritance Tax at a stroke.

This seminar looks at how this is possible, what you have to do and how your new domicile status can be documented and tested with HM Revenue & Customs. It will also look at how offshore structures can be used to protect UK estates of non-UK domiciled clients from inheritance tax.
