Hong Kong’s advantages for United Kingdom companies eager to explore the dynamic markets of the Chinese mainland and Asia will be highlighted in a week-long event in London this September.

“Think Asia, Think Hong Kong,” 12-16 September, will feature a symposium and a range of seminars led by high-profile speakers from Hong Kong and the UK. Business leaders, senior government officials and international celebrities will take part, underlining Hong Kong’s role as the services centre of Asia. The Hong Kong showcase will also spotlight arts and entertainment, with a Hong Kong film series, a street carnival, a wine-and-food promotion and other events.

The programme is organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), with the backing of 17 Hong Kong partners. "Think Asia, Think Hong Kong" is expected to attract corporate leaders, small and medium-sized enterprises, services providers, economists and academics looking for the latest opportunities and insights on doing business in Asia.

Think Asia, Think Hong Kong will feature a symposium, 13 September, at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London. Seminars covering finance, logistics, technology, the creative industries and other sectors will also take place. The full event schedule can be found on the "Think Asia, Think Hong Kong" website, www.thinkasiathinkhk.com. “Think Asia, Think Hong Kong” will also travel to Leeds for a half-day seminar, 14 September.
