Emily Duncan is a consultant with Gall & Lane, a specialist dispute resolution law firm with a wealth of experience in a wide variety of litigation, arbitration and mediation.
Emily has extensive experience dealing with employment disputes and commercial litigation. Her expertise includes acting for and advising senior executives and companies in respect of non-contentious and contentious employment matters, with particular emphasis on the financial sector. She frequently assists employers with drafting contracts of employment and handbooks and employees in negotiating their contracts of employment. She has been involved in wrongful dismissal and constructive dismissal claims involving complex bonus issues. She also has experience in dealing with race discrimination, sex discrimination and disability discrimination claims.
Emily is also very experienced in dealing with partnership issues, such as managing under-performing partners, Partner and Team Moves and has drafted Retirement Deed for Partners upon exit. She has written and published in various legal journals and speak frequently on employment law issues.
