Event date:
Tue, 07/07/2009 - 08:00 - 09:15
Will the Government's Ten Mega Projects be

Hong Kong's Recessionary Saviour and a Foundation

for Hong Kong's Future Prosperity?
Timothy Peirson-Smith, Managing Director, Executive Counsel Ltd
While Hong Kong weathers the global recession and we await the move of the ten mega projects from the drawing boards to site, what more can the Government do to ensure Hong Kong upgrades its infrastructure to remain regionally competitive and relevant to China going forward?

Timothy J. Peirson-Smith is Managing Director of Executive Counsel Limited, a communication-focused management consultancy. Using his 19 years experience in development and infrastructure in Hong Kong, Tim will detail the works pipeline and examine short, medium and long-term infrastructure and development initiatives. He will examine how such investment can help Hong Kong weather the fallout from the global financial crisis, contribute to economic recovery, and lay the foundations for Hong Kong’s greater relevance to China.
