So much has been written about the emergent nature of HR in Asia and the need to introduce and implement global best practice.  The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Europe’s largest professional HR and development body has recently completed a flagship research program entitled ‘Next Generation HR’, which explores HR philosophies and practices across Asia that respond directly to the unique challenges of growth in Asia.

Jackie Orme,  CEO of the CIPD will be discussing the results of their flagship research program at a breakfast briefing hosted by Hays Human Resources on Tuesday 14th December.  This briefing will specifically explore how HR is playing a unique role in defining and shaping business insight and developing an entrepreneurial spirit, the role of HR in driving performance through cultures and how organisations are building cultures that blend traditional Asian values with the needs and priorities of younger employees.

Jackie Orme has been an HR practitioner for more than 17 years. She has worked across a broad range of sectors and HR specialisms.  Prior to joining the CIPD, Jackie spent 12 years working for PepsiCo – including 7 years leading the UK and Ireland HR function and sitting on both the UK Executive Board of PepsiCo International and the global PepsiCo International HR Council.
