Making sense of a puzzling world
Bill Emmott, Chairman of the London Library, author and columnist

In the three years since the global financial crisis began, economic signals seem to have been swirling all over the place: is it to be deflation or inflation, a weak dollar or a strong one, a smooth global rebalancing or a bumpy one, cheap oil or dear oil, a booming China or a bubbling one...?

Bill Emmott, editor of The Economist in 1993-2006, author of many books on Asia, and now a columnist on The Times as well as Chairman of the London Library, will help bring clarity amid all this confusion.
