Join us for an entertaining evening in the company of Ian McGeechan, as he reflects on his fantastic rugby career, discusses his experiences of 'Living as a Lion' and gives some insights into his managerial and coaching techniques.

Ian McGeechan began his career as a player - winning more than thirty caps for Scotland and twice touring with the Lions. As a coach to the Scottish national team, he led his country to a famous Grand Slam victory in the 1990 Five Nations tournament. Continued success in management earned him an appointment as Head Coach to the Lions on four separate occasions, more than any other, most recently for their heroic and closely fought 2009 tour to South Africa. And as coach of Wasps, Ian has guided the team to dominance in the club game.

Ian's focus upon simplicity and clarity of thought, steely determination, and astute man management has defined a managerial career revered by many in the rugby world.

Ian will be in coversation with Humphrey Walters, LDC's Performance Director. Humphrey has been delivering inspirational leadership programmes across all walks of life - from the 2003 England World Cup winning team and the BT Global Challenge, to many other individuals and teams in sports and business.

Ian has recently released his autobiography 'Lion Man', and is currently touring the UK meeting rugby fans and speaking at sell-out events.
