PAUL WALLACE

Former Ireland Rugby  International, Lions Test Hero and Sky Sports Broadcaster

  • 46 caps for Ireland
  • Played the full duration of all 3 tests in South Africa with the victorious 1997 British and Irish Lions
  • Described by captain, Martin Johnson, as 'my player of the series'
  • Played with UCC, Munster, Blackrock, Saracens, and Leinster
  • Now a well respected commentator, and a regular member of the Sky Sports studio
  • This summer he will be commentating on the Lions tour of South Africa with the sole European broadcaster Sky Sports
  • Writes for both the Sunday Times and Rugby World Magazine
  • Paul and his 3 brother all played for the Lions - a unique achievement in international sport!

SEAN FITZPATRICK

Former New Zealand Rugby International

  • Holds the world record for playing in 63 consecutive Test matches and being the world’s most capped hooker
  • Appointed captain of the All Blacks in 1992 and played in 121 international matches, including 92 Test matches, a New Zealand record
  • Holds the record for most Test matches as an All Black captain (51) and has played in more Test match victories (74) than any other player.
  • Led New Zealand to a series win over the touring British Lions in 1993 and became the first New Zealander to captain a Test series win in South Africa
  • Now living in the UK and is a Non-Executive Director at Harlequins rugby and an Analyst for Sky Sports.
  • Sean's father, Brian (BBJ) Fitzpatrick was also an All Black 1951 – 1954
