When David joined the Hospital Authority in 2002, it was for a 3 year contract, but like many expatriates he stayed longer, and after 8 years in the role, will leave the day before he talks to us on the 25th November!

David will share with us his observations on the challenges of driving change in HR, sometimes quietly and sometimes not, and the lessons he has learned from the experiences of;

  • SARS
  • Developing succession management in the public sector
  • Implementing an Enterprise Resource Planning system

On a more personal level, David will share his experiences of overcoming (or not!) the barriers of language and the percieved barriers of culture.
