EUBIP Workshop at Asian Financial Forum: “Investing in Europe; Latest developments on EU rules covering investment funds"

This workshop, organised by the European Union Business Information Programme (EUBIP), will present the latest developments on EU rules covering investment funds as well as the preparations currently undertaken in the EU to ensure the smooth implementation of the Alternative Investment Fund Manager's Directive (AIFMD). An overview on the implementation measures currently being drafted, their scope and purpose will be provided, as well as third country implications will also be assessed. Apart from the AIFMD, the workshop will discuss the new EU rules on venture capital and ongoing projects in relation to the UCITS rules.
