The British Chamber's Real Estate committee are delighted to welcome Colin Dyer to give an update on the impact of the global economic downturn on the real estate industry. His briefing will cover capital flow in real estate around the world, current investment sentiment, growth trends and the outlook for the coming year.
Colin Dyer is President and Chief Executive Officer of Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated, a financial and professional services firm specializing in real estate that services clients in 60 countries from 750 locations worldwide. He has overall responsibility for guiding Jones Lang LaSalle’s strategic vision and growth and for chairing the firm’s Global Executive Committee, its most senior internal management committee. He is also a member of the firm’s Board of Directors.
Mr. Dyer's previous roles include: founding CEO of the WorldWide Retail Exchange, CEO of Courtaulds Textiles plc, and client manager with McKinsey & Company in Amsterdam. Mr. Dyer holds an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College in London. He serves as a non-executive director and chairman of the audit committee for Northern Foods plc, a major food supplier to the British retail sector.
