Recent pick-up in China's residential market re-invigorates a sense of optimism on recovery of China's property market. At the time when more foreign investors start emerging from hibernation, the fear of the Chinese government to reverse its policy stance by talking a pre-emptive tightening to arrest formation of property bubble is brewing.
What are China's property market analytics now? Is it more liquidity, fundamentals or policy driven? How attractive is current valuation? Will there be substantial policy changes ahead? Should foreign investors get through the barricades to act now or continue to wait?
Mr. Hing-yin Lee is Director of Research & Advisory at Colliers International for East China region. He has 15 years experience in economic and property market research covering China and Hong Kong. He has carried out various consultancy projects on feasibility studies and project due diligence for prominent real estate funds, developers and investors. With in-depth knowledge about the China economy and property market, his insightful analysis on the property market has demonstrated to be hghly resilient as valuable reference to investors.
