With focus and key investments from the Government in the areas of technology, education and infrastructure, China has emerged as a favourable destination for information technology and business process outsourcing with an ambition to play in knowledge process outsourcing.
Egidio Zarrella is the Global Partner in Charge of the IT Advisory Practice at KPMG. With more than 20 years experience in IT and sourcing, Edge has assisted multi-national clients in the development and set-up of sourcing strategies including outsourcing, offshoring and in-sourcing. His clients include companies that have had global or regional operations in Malaysia, India, China, Vietnam and the Philippines.
Edge will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of outsourcing in China. It is clear that a competitive edge can be achieved by those who understand how to take advantages of China's strengths and manage the weaknesses effectively.
