China's VAT reforms commenced in Shanghai in early 2012 and will be expanded to Beijing later this year. It is anticipated that VAT will eventually be implemented across mainland China. The seminar will discuss:

Karmen has extensive experience of providing various PRC corporate and individual tax advisory to foreign investment enterprises in the PRC.  She has advised Hong Kong based companies and multinational corporations in their investment structure in China and establishing tax efficient supply chain models.  In particular, she advises companies in the form of investment, corporate restructuring, design of tax efficient supply chain models from sourcing and manufacturing to distribution and retailing in China from the corporate income tax, transfer pricing, value added tax and customs duty perspectives.
