Rapid adoption of cloud computing, social media and virtualisation technologies opens enterprises up to many new threats as information flows to and from network via an unsecure Internet environment, such as bonet, hacking, data leakage and malicious links. To fully leverage on the Internet to increase business efficiencies, enterprises should deploy multi-layer protection solutions for their networks and extra web security controls against evolving Internet threats.
In this lunch workshop, Daniel Kwong, General Manager of IT and Security Services of CPCNet, will share with British Chamber members the latest security challenges and trends as well as some market solutions against these challenges that can be implemented without increasing the burden of business IT operations.
About the speaker:
Mr. Daniel Kwong joined CPCNet in July 2009 as General Manager, Security Services and was appointed as General Manager, Information Technology and Security Services in February 2010.
Mr. Kwong has over 15 years of development and management experiences in information technology areas and also possesses the professional qualifications of ITIL. Prior to joining CPCNet, he was the senior manager of Information Technology in Jones Lang LaSalle Limited, responsible for management of information technology in Asia Pacific Regions.
